Winterthur, May 10, 2023 – The PAWI Group is acquiring Printmax, a packaging plant based in Warsaw (Poland). PAWI is thus expanding its range of high-quality cardboard and paper packaging solutions for the food and non-food sectors to include highly refined folding cartons for cosmetics, near-pharmaceuticals and luxury goods of all kinds. In addition, this acquisition enables the packaging manufacturer to enter the steadily growing Polish market, thereby strengthening its international competitive position in a highly competitive market.

PAWI has been producing high-quality cardboard and paper packaging for the bakery and confectionery industry for over 60 years. The family-owned company also offers packaging for the industrial food and non-food sectors. With plants in Winterthur (Switzerland) and Singen (Germany), it is very well established in the industry. In line with its strategy to grow and enter new markets, PAWI is specifically looking for opportunities to expand its product range and extend its international reach.
