The SVI enters into a reciprocal membership with the association, VSPR – Association of Swiss Plastic Recyclers. 
The Swiss Plastic Recyclers Association (formerly the Swiss Plastics Recycling Association) sees itself as the voice of all companies, municipalities, cities and citizens who are committed to environmentally conscious material cycles in the field of plastics recycling.
