DG ENV’s oral answers during the meeting on February 4, 2025 to the questions and possible solutions presented by CEI-Bois on the remaining uncertainties in the implementation of the EUDR are included here(click here).

CEI-Bois had collected contributions from its members and compiled these together with contributions from the other meeting participants, namely CEPI, EFIC, EOS, EPF, ETTF, FEFPEB and FEP. Although not all questions could be addressed during the meeting due to the limited time available, DG ENV was nevertheless able to provide oral answers on a considerable number of topics, as shown in the attached document.

The topic “Wooden pallets and packaging” clarifies the obligations for manufacturers and repairers in connection with new and repaired WPM. Our contribution was actively taken into account.
