The members of the Swiss Packaging Institute elected four new board members and a new president.
Olten, May 16, 2025: The Swiss Packaging Institute SVI can look back on a challenging year in 2024. The association posted a financial loss of CHF 12,756. Despite increased regulatory pressure on the industry and a currently rather weak economy, the SVI wants to emerge from crisis mode in 2025.
SVI President Philippe Dubois welcomed 24 voting members to the 62nd Annual General Meeting of the Swiss Packaging Institute SVI on 16 May 2025 in Olten. The past year 2024 was characterized by great uncertainty, especially with regard to increased regulatory activities in Switzerland and the EU, which put a strain on the industry. The resignation of the President and three Board members will reshape the SVI. Dubois reflected on 13 exciting, enjoyable and challenging years as President of the SVI.
