How much is safe packaging worth?
The SVI does not have sufficient financial resources in its regular budget to be able to advance the work of the JIG in terms of content and expertise. The SVI relies on the support of the interested production chain to cover its financial expenses.
The funds of the specialist area consist of ordinary personal memberships or extraordinary project support contributions, donations or income from events.
The SVI is liable for the liabilities of the JIG; personal liability of the supporters is excluded .
The funding requirement for projects is between CHF 20,000 and CHF 80,000 per year, depending on the type and size of the project. The projects must be fully financed by the project shareholders. Projects are driven forward according to the funds available.
Membership of the JIG
An individual membership costs CHF 360 per year.
Membership lasts at least one year.
Members (personal membership) are invited to a general meeting at least twice a year and are invited to contribute project ideas and help shape projects. The funds paid in are used to maintain the group (project manager, events and administration).
The membership fee of CHF 360 per year is charged by invoice. Membership is tacitly continued without written notice of termination.
Membership cannot be transferred to a second person.
